    How to play

    Each turn you draw a tile and place it so every edge matches what it touches: town to town, rail to rail, range to range. Then you may put one of your 7 followers on that tile:

    The Settler
    Settler in a town: a finished town pays 2 per tile and 2 per bank.
    The Railman
    Railman on a rail line: a finished line (both ends at a depot, town, mine or loop) pays 1 per tile.
    The Prospector
    Prospector in a gold mine: 9 once the mine is surrounded by 8 tiles.
    The Rancher
    Rancher on the open range: stays put all game; at the end each range pays 3 per finished town it touches.

    You can't put a follower on a town, line or range that already has one, but two can end up sharing when tiles join them. Most followers takes the points; a tie pays everyone tied. Followers come home when their feature is scored. When the tiles run out, unfinished towns pay 1 per tile and bank, lines 1 per tile, mines 1 plus the tiles around them.
